Requirements

  • At least 12 characters
  • Uppercase letter (A–Z)
  • Lowercase letter (a–z)
  • Number (0–9)
  • Symbol (!@#$…)
  • Not a common password
  • No obvious repeats/sequences
  • Use passphrases. Four random words are easier to remember and harder to crack than "P@ss1".
  • Length beats complexity. A 16-char password is exponentially stronger than an 8-char one.
  • Never reuse passwords. One breach shouldn't unlock every account.
